All riders participating in the tour must complete the online registration. Every rider must register separately unless they are registering as a family. Please use this link to register to ride.
Riders are welcome to ride any combination of segments. Riders will find each segment to be a unique experience and great fun.
Registration requires a $35 registration payment. The fee includes food, beverages, SAG (support and gear) support – emergency repairs, equipment adjustments, transportation to beginning or end sites etc.
Riders are also encouraged to set a fund raising goal ($200 or more) designated to support one of the partnering organizations listed on the website.
Do you have gifts and interest to help with one of the following teams?
Food planning and service: This team will plan snacks and meals, purchase the necessary supplies, and prepare and serve the food along the route.
Support and Gear (SAG): This team will acquire support vehicles (preferably donated) and trailers. They will acquire basic repair kits, tools, pumps, stands, degreaser, tubes and tires, and provide logistical support to riders as needed along the route. This team will also cart the personal belongings of riders from site to site each day.
Communications: This team will support the event manager in pre-event communications. They will also take pictures, gather stories (both riders and partner organizations), write a daily blog on the days happenings, and post stories and photos to social media in support of the ride.
Please contact Rachael at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are willing and able to volunteer in any of these capacities.
Riders are asked to raise $200 or more per day or seek out sponsors for each mile they ride. All funds raised will support organizations that are strengthening urban neighborhoods.
